Girls: Do you like or dislike shy guys? Would you date a shy guy?
I am shy and I am not sure whether or not girls like shy guys. I still go to school and sometimes I find it hard to find the girl that is right for me. A lot of the times I feel kind of sad because it is my last year of high school and I have never dated anyone or ever felt really close to anyone. When I see a girl that I like (usually shy like me) I want to get to know her more, but I have always had a difficult time expressing my feelings, mainly because "I do not think I am good enough" or "she is probably already dating someone" etc. and I kind of just drop the ball and move along. My mom says that I am good looking, but you know how mothers are. Plus my confidence is kind of low, I try putting on fake confidence, but it doesn't always work. Anyways I enjoy listening to music a lot, I play the piano, guitar, enjoy spending time with friends, writing poems, and I enjoy playing video games. Another thing is that I am 6'3 but I am skinny (around 150 lbs). - I like shy guys to a certain level. I guess the main thing I look for in a relationship is having someone to talk to who can listen without judging. & if a shy guy can do that for me, then kudos to him. But I do want him to be able to stick up for himself and not be afraid to stand up for what he believes in, so if he's so shy he can't do that, then no. Good luck ^^ You're cute, btw =)

- You're cute, and the shy girl probably doesn't have the guts to talk to you either, so you're just going to have to suck it up and make the first move. :) And yes, a lot of girls are fine with shy guys, I should know. I'm with one, and he's the best guy I've ever met. Just talk to the girl. :) You can do it. (And if you are bad at talking, try chatting or something, till you get comfortable around her. Trust me, if she's shy, it's just as hard on her. Good luck!)
