Khmer Peoples attitudes towards teen dating?
There is a new girl at my school who has recently moved here from Cambodia. What is the Khmer attitude towards dating in adolescence? This girl is not American-Khmer, she just moved here from Cambodia. I am attempting to learn Khmer, since she doesn't speak much English.

- Cambodian parents, especially if they just came from Cambodia, would probably dislike teen dating. They would probably want their daughter to focus on schoolwork and education before boys. However, they would probably appreciate it if you tried to teach her English. At the same time, they would probably be really paranoid about your intentions toward their daughter.
