Structure versus Freedom in a dating relationship?
How is a healthy relationship better based off of? I have my own views, but would like the input of others. Is it better to have rigidly enforced rules while dating someone, or a more spontaneous, free will, whatever may happen will happen approach? See my ex wants to get back together and in the process she wants to make tons of rules and guidelines that I am supposed to have to follow. Considering I don't want to date her, I want a more free approach. I'm trying to tell her that this is the wrong way about going about dating someone.

- a little of both in my opinion
- You neeed to have both. If there is too much structure and enforcement, the female will feel trapped, and she won't like it. She'll feel more like your her boss, not her boyfriend, or husband. If it is too loose, and wild, you two will find yourselves really screwed. Too much partying means higher chances of someone cheating. But, I mean, a guy should always try to suprise a female. Like on Friday night, plan something really nice. Or one month, just say.."hey, babe, I think we should go to Hawaii." Bring her roses, and make things fun, but too much of anything is a bad thing. Good luck.
