Can you recommend any good free dating sites?

I'm recently single and although I might not be ready to go into a full on relationship just yet, I'd still like to see what type of single women are out there. I wouldn't mind going on dates to get to know women and put myself "on the market" as it were, for when I'm ready for a relationship. By free I mean free. Not free to subscribe but you have to pay to send messages or fully access profiles.
