Why do women always try to go for the nice guys but end up dating the bad boys?

most women who grew up in violent or arguing households would try to go for the nice guys but usually end up dating the bad boys and not the nice guys. Why do they do this?

2. because they really don't want good guys. lot of women pick bad boys because they like drama . very sad
3. Because they NEVER even try to go for the nice guys... they just lie and say they did after they get "stuck" with a bad guy.
