What do you think of free dating websites?
Like plentyoffish? Is it a good website? How different is it from a paid dating website?

- Take em like a grain of salt. Most of the people on those sites are full of crap and they use phony accounts, phony pictures to lure people in, lie about there age and lord knows what else. There also full of scam artists trying to prey on innocent people. I am not saying you can't find love on them, but just be cautious and if it sounds to good to be true, then its probably not. And if you do meet someone you like, ask for lots of pictures and if there afraid or balk at that request or won't show any pictures, then run.
- I'm sure that free sites work for some people. My only comment from personal experience is that you have to sift through a lot more people before you find someone genuine and attractive and paid sites seem to have less timewasters on them. Would you pay $15 or so dollars a month if you weren't serious about looking for a relationship? A friend who used plentyoffish for about a week said she'd never use that site ever again!!! Paid sites also tend to be a bit slicker, have way less adverts, the pages load faster and I just got the feeling they took security a bit more seriously. You can try out some of the paid sites for free using a "Free Trial" link which this site has a few of: http://www.mydatinggenie.com/Free_Trials.html
