what do shy girls usually do when it comes to guys and dating?

Shy girls usually don't talk to guys they like or find attractive. I'm curious to know for those who are shy or really shy. Do you ever end up with a guy you like at first sight or do you end up with someone that you are really close to and able to talk to, kind of like a best friend or not even, someone that is not appealing but you're able to hold conversation?

2. I'm pretty shy. Usually I become friends or date the guys who are not upset if I'm not as outgoing. I usually like guys who are able to get me out of my shell and like you said are able to hold a conversation just in case I can't. Those guys are usually also like you said my best friends. I feel like they are able to get past my shyness.

I am attracted to a guy with a great smile, who is very sweet and affectionate, and puts me at ease. Yes, I would need to be friends with him first. Great conversation, laughter, and warmth wins over my heart. I could never talk to a random guy at a bar unless he approached me first and was friendly about it without being a jerk.
6. I'm shy but not at all after i get to know the boy. I wouldn't be the one going up to say hi or anything first though if he comes up to talk to me i will talk and keep the convo going. usually a boy i like at first sight theres more to get to know. rather then a best friend i don't roll that way.
