how does a short guy compete against taller guys in dating?

cos 99.9% of the time the taller guy is preferred, cos apparently they are stronger, I'm 5'5 so I guess I can't protect a girl

5. You can always protect a girl no matter how tall you are. With a tall guy just punch him in his ball's. I mean you are eye level and all. If that doesn't work just run and hide in the glove compartment. Learning to spell helps too.

7. If a girl is judging you based on height, then she's not the one for you. You need to find a girl that will love you for who you are. How old are you? Because if you're young still, you stil have time to grow.
8. trust me not all girls like tall guys many of my friends find it annoying if a guy is too tall and just because you are 5'5 does not mean you cannot protect a girl. bruce lee was 5'8 and he was considered small compared to his rivals but yet he always managed to beat men that were taller than him. so strength has nothing to do with height believe in yourself and let your personality shine through
9. walk with a bit of a swagger. don't slouch or walk around with your head down. straighten out your back, stick out your chest slightly, and walk like a man. women love confidence and if you look like you have it then you'll be accepted regardless of height. no offense but try to find someone about your same height. it helps.
10. It should not matter, guys that are taller are not necessary stronger. What matters is whats on the inside not what you look like on the outside and if your worried about protecting a girl then start weight training to build your muscles.

Being short isn't bad at all, it really has nothing to do with your personality and that's what matters. Protecting girls has really nothing to do with it, its mostly confidence. I sort of understand what you mean, I'm a 6 foot 2 girl and I get the same things going through my head too. Don't worry; you'll get a great girl regardless someday. =)
