1. I never dated anyone before, but sophomore year in high school is pretty reasonable.
2. I started a few months ago. At the age of 13. Best age to date is whenever you are ready. Maybe around 13-19

10. I think it depends on your definition of dating. If it's an occasional outing with somebody of the opposite sex, I'd say 15. If you're talking about committed, monogamous relationships, I'd say 17, maybe older. I'm 16, and while I will date, I haven't yet.
11. I started dating at 14, but I honestly think 16 is a good age to start because I think it's the age where a person is mature enough mentally to actually date.

13. -My first relationship was freshmen year in high school -I think people should date when they get into high school. Any relationships before that are kinda pointless and even the relationships in high school are too. High school is mostly a trialhood for college and even later in life when it comes to relationships. You find you're type, for most you try sex, and you know how to handle the relationships.

19. i started dating when i was 20. romance wasn't on my mind prior b/c i was so involved in other things like studying and extracurricular activities and music. yes i was a nerd but i was cute looking back. supposedly few had crushes on me but were afraid to ask. they thought i was a lesbian. lol i think it's best to wait til after 18. dating is such a distraction from building the foundation of your education and getting to know YOURSELF.
20. My first bf was at 16 and he was 17, but he'd had one or two other gfs before me. I would say 14 or older would be a good age for teens to start dating. Umm what else are you looking for? I guess I could add that my first kiss was also at 16. I think it's weird when 12 year olds start talking about making out with their bfs. I think that that's way to young. 13 is sort a transitional age but relationships at 13 never seem to work out well. When ever a teen gets to high school I think that's when it becomes more acceptable to start dating.

22. I started dating about 8th grade but all relationships before like 10th-12th grade you are probably going to forget about anyways.

24. I started dating when I was 17, when I was a college sophomore. My parents didn't know about it, and they were furious when they found out. I grew up in a sheltered environment, and dating someone was like the absolute freedom for me. I'm glad I did listen to my parents and broke up with the guy though. There were a lot of things that were soooo wrong in that relationship. For example: 1. Our family has more money than they do and he keeps rubbing it in my face that I have to pay for our dates because I have more money. He occasionally pays - once a month. 2. He keeps on borrowing money from me!!! Hello, we were just students then. Did he think I was an ATM machine or something? But, because of my blind -gag- love from him, I did the above things because I was afraid I'd lose him. This was such a bad point of view. If your parents are open to you dating, make sure to keep them in the loop about your relationship. They'll be able to guide you and keep you from making a lot of relationship mistakes (like the stupid mistakes I did).

28. I think 16 is the best age to start dating. I'll be 16 soon, so I'm exited to start, but I'm glad I waited- there's so much drama in school so far that I've avoided by not getting into the 'he likes her, she likes him' thing.
