shy guys need your help? is he shy and interested or..? imm kinda stressed over the 1st date?

there're some weird stuff my friend does.looks at me in class and looks away when caught -he talks to girls easily/sits by them. but he gets tongue-tied when it comes to me. mumbles when he talks -he'd not have physical contact but when i move in close to hear what hes saying, he doesnt move away -he changed his bus route for mine.and on it he made like he wanted my no but kept his phone -i went to his orchestral concert and he saw me.during the interval instead of walking by where i sat,he took a dif route -he's pretty built so he'd rub his biceps and stuff when he's near me:/ at road junctions, he'd turn right round to wave if he knows i'm a distance behind -usually looks at me when i talk to girls but when its guys he looks away. should i ask him out? i feel pretty stressed that the first date can't fail..and i just dont know how to relax and go about it.. any suggestions? thanks! :)

1. Shyness is for kids. Wait until he grows, before you ask him out. Also, build your self esteem and wait for guys to ask you out, instead.

3. okay well obviously you think he likes you and the only facts you put on here is things that show he does and nothing that says he doesnt so i really have no idea if he likes you or not.
4. He likes you as far as I can tell. My boyfriends not shy but he suggests punching him in the chest and saying the words "Hey there good lookin', you gonna just eye me up or ask me out?" Then give him a wink and say "Well?" (Maybe it's a guy thing?)
5. I think you should ask him out. It so obvious (at least to me) that he likes you. He just may be too shy to ask you first. If you don't have a problem being the assertive one, then, by all means, ask him out on a date. Who knows, this could be the start of something special.
6. Your guy can't do the first move though he's dying for you. Approach him with a smile so that the butterfly inside him will fly away. Don't ask immediately for a date a casual conversation is a good start. He might have a courage to ask you a date as you go along.
7. things will be more simple for u and him if you ask him out and on that date ask him about all the looks and looks away when caught and everything else, the guy will come out with every truth about how he feels about u, and just make sure on the date u ask to much to now him....
