I am a reformed shy person, so I know how hard it is to come out of your shell when you are shy. I have had two dates with a shy guy, and I can't figure out how to get him to come out his shell. I don't want to have to be the one to initiate everything, I really wanted him to step up and kiss me last night, but he doesn't. We talked this morning and he told me that is what he wanted, but he couldn't figure out if I wanted the same thing. I live by the saying "No risk, no reward" I am not the type to wait for a hint normally....I would have just gone for it. But I just am tired of always initiating things. I was the first to initiate contact, the first to hug, the first to acknowledge that I like him...is this what I can expect. Do you think when he gets more comfortable with me he will step up and make the first move eventually? If we even have any firsts left at that point?....Help!
