How do you get a guy who is shy about dating to go out with you?

Okay, so theirs this guy who want to date, but from what ive seen so far, he seems too shy/afraid/insecure to start a relationship with a girl, even though hes 18 and never had a girlfriend. What should I do people? Really, I have no clue.... Green_roi is obviously insecure about his penis size.

7. It sounds like your talking about my son. Well he is not quite 18 , a 1 1/2 away. If you are in school together, you might approach him and ask for some help in a subject that HE excels in. Or perhaps ask him to join a project that you are working on. You might even have a friend approach him to let him know you are interested and is there any way he may feel comfortable to meet you. Perhaps, make a party and invite him so he is there in a group and as the hostess going around talking to your guests, you start up a conversation with him. I can go on to provide so many suggestions and ideas. I would need to know more about this guy, where he is from, does he have siblings and are you friends with any of them. Does he live near you, are your moms acquaintances etc.
