Is it true that many Asian guys are very shy when it comes to asking girls out and dating?
I don't know what it is, but it's been like, I know quite a few Asian dudes and everyone of them say they are afraid when it comes to asking a girl out and talking to her if he likes her. Are they more shy than other's, because they like them, but they seem afraid and don't want to make it known that he likes her ?

- Yes...Asian guys are very sweet and polite guys. Most of them are too shy to approach a woman [especially one of a different race] out of fear of rejection. I've had Asian guys that seemed to like me but never had to courage to approach me.
- it has to do with society, as you can see from poster #1. That stereotype and those like them are implanted in western cultures minds. Would you have much confidence when everyone thinks that about you? teach your children not to be racist and perhaps asian guys will have more confidence
- Yess it is true and very much correct
- Remember, in America we are considered foreigners and not fellow countrymen. I'm Asian and every time I try to talk to American women, their families interfere or their friends. Americans do not promote Asian male dating. America tends to be racist this way. But I still get American girls. LOL. FYI, despite the odds. 2006 Census - 30% Asian American men are in interacial marriages. That's not including dating. Here's some examples: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Qsw7LWNDfnc
