Dating question... do guys mind shy girls?

Hi :) I'm just wondering, do guys mind shy girls? I've never really been on a "real" date. There are a couple of guys that like me (But I don't like them) but besides that, I really haven't known anybody. I'm shy, and I blush really easily and I'm pretty quiet, especially around guys that I think are cute, lol. Do you think that when I go to college, will guys talk to me / want to get to know me even if I appear shy and quiet at first? Once I get to know / spend plenty of time with people I open up and love to do all sorts of things, but I think people think I am stuck-up because I'm so shy and quiet. So- are guys just not interested because I'm shy or do you think they won't mind?

6. it all depends on how shy you are really. like for insists if when they are talking to you just say yea or something and don't try to make conversation. After a while it feels like your talking to yourself, also the conversation can die really fast if you don't trying to talking back. Not saying that shy is bad and all. 7. The biggest problem you will face as a shy girl is the fragile male ego. I went out last week with a shy girl. We have a mutual friend set us up. After the date, I didn't phone her again. From her performance on the date, I figured she was not at all interested in me. A few days later our mutual friend called and said the girl was crazy about me, and why didn't I phone. Simple answer, I took her her silence and failure to make eye contact as rejection. So make sure to give him some sort of encouragement, no matter how awkward you are feeling.
