I don't think there should be any rush about dating guys, etc. We are like any other animal, it is instinctive for us to pair up, and when the time is right there is very little that can stop it happening even if you don't want it to. She should take the time to invest in herself so that when she finds the right guy she can be the best partner for him, and he will treat her well because she has repsect for herself. When I see a girl who is not desparate to find a man and is comfortable without a guy then this makes her very attractive!
