Are there any actually FREE online dating sites?
Are there any actually FREE online dating sites? Sites where you are not required to have a subscription or membership before you can actually email someone? It seems most sites require you to get a membership before you can actually send email back and forth. There has got to be a really FREE site out there.

- While most sites have some kind of fee for full membership benefits (i.e. at lavalife.com you can post profiles, send smiles and respond to emails sent for free but buy credits to start the conversation) there are some free sites out there. I think someone mentioned myspace or you could try lemontonic.com. I don't know how reputable they are though, so "buyer beware". (I've just heard from friends experiences that some of the free sites attract some wierd people as opposed to paid sites where people may be more serious about dating/getting a membership). Good luck with it. P.S. There's another site called plentyoffish or something like that - only reason I know of that one is because that's how a friend of a friend found out her fiance was cheating on her.

- I use tarzanmeetjane, it is the only completely free site I have found. I had to become a member but it didn't cost me anything. I probably wouldn't have signed up if people could just see my profile without becoming a member anyway - otherwise I could end up with a stalker lol! I'm Carriegirl in there if you stop by.
